Jasper Philipsen added his name to the honorary list of In Flanders Fields – From Middelkerke to Wevelgem. For a long time, it looked like Wout van Aert and Mathieu van der Poel would battle it out for victory, but just a few kilometers from the finish they were caught by Alec Segaert, and shortly after by the peloton. Jasper Philipsen then convincingly won the sprint ahead of Tobias Lund Andresen and Christophe Laporte.
